Welcome

My name is Kevin Shaum; I'm a programmer living in Houston, Texas.

My weblog can be found here. "Books" that I'm working on can be found here. Who knows, I may someday actually try writing a book. Stranger things have happened.

This site is managed using Drupal, an open source content management program. I highly recommend Drupal; it was wonderfully easy to set up and configure, especially using the Fantastico interface provided for me by Hosting Matters.

Right now this site contains a lot of "Testing" content, which I created while figuring out Drupal. I'll delete the old stuff once I have some actual content online.

I used to manage a site called "The Lazy Pundit". The site's still there, but I haven't added to it in ages, and all the comments are turned off, because the site was getting comment-spammed. (Which is why anonymous comments are disabled here.) If I do any more serious political blogging, it will probably go on the new blog, linked above.

I also go by the name "Tinker LaFollette" in Second Life; if you come in-world, send me an IM and say "Hi".
